Daisy Belle Patterson is the daughter of Edgar Thomas Patterson & Sarah Ann Springer. There is quite a bit of contraversy between records as to where and when she was actually born. She married Fremont John Brown on the 2nd of November 1898 in Jonesville, Hillsdale County, Michigan, USA. The 1890 Census for Michigan is missing. In the 1900 U.S. Census she is listed as living with Fremont John Brown in Butler Township, Branch County, Michigan, U.S.A., with their son Anson Brown who is listed as 10. (However the transcription of this record states Dr. I J Brown). Upon close examination & knowing who she married; I can read the original record and it states Dr. F J Brown. On the 25th of January 1905; Daisy and Fremont had a daughter, named in the record as Daisy Bell Brown (her mother's namesake whom at the time is no longer using the "e" at the end of Belle), she has her daughter in Marshall, Calhoun County, Michigan. According to family submitted genealogy Daisy dies in 1906 in Velda, Missouri. After many decades of being stuck and searching for years, I am still no closer to locating the record of her death. Whatever the case may be I am fairly confident that she probably died during or shortly after childbirth right in Michigan possibly in or around the Hillsdale/Marshall areas. She was buried in her maiden name, which is another baffler because I see nothing to suggest she & Fremont were divorced...Furthermore her stone states she died in 1905. The sexton has no records from this time period, and apparently there were several fires where the newspapers from Hillsdale area were stored and a lot of the early 1905 papers were destroyed. It is at this time my belief that the records from the time when she died, may have been destroyed...
