Mrs. John Cathey Dies Last Night,
Funeral Monday
Mrs. John Cathey of Paris Route 2 died early last night at the home of Mrs. Ina Butler on Crutchfield Lane. She was 73.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Monday at West Paris Baptist Church with the Rev. L. F Gassaway, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McEvoy Funeral Home, and the body is at the funeral home until time for services.
She was the daughter of the late Alva B and Nina Butler Atkins, and was a native Henry Countian. She was a member of the West Paris church.
She leaves her husband, John Cathey, to whom she was married in 1928; a sister, Mrs. George McDaniel of Paris; and four brothers, Ira Atkins of Paris, Henry Atkins of Paris; J. T. Atkins of Memphis, and Guy Atkins of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
