Mrs. Monti Mai Dinkins, 79, of 204 Blakemore St. died Monday afternoon at Henry County Nursing Home.

Services will be at 2 PM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with John Dale of Murray, Ky., and William T Looney of Paris officiating. Burial ill be in Palestine Cemetery. Nephews will be pallbearers. Visitation began at 11 AM today.

Mrs. Dinkins was born Feb. 2, 1905 in Henry County, a daughter of the late Guy and Nancy Ann Phelps Edwards. Her husband, Dorris Dinkins, died in February 1978. She was a member of East Wood Church of Christ and a homemaker.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Neale Lankford of Edmond, Okla., and six brothers, Ray, Plug and David Edwards of Paris, Ralph Edwards of Detroit, Mich., Bob Edwards of Henry and John Edwards of Washington.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. John Dale, and two brothers, Roy and Charles Edwards.
