Margie Caffee, 63, 3006 S Marietta Road, died at 10:57 am Friday in the emergency room at Major Hospital.

Mrs. Caffee was born October 9, 1930, in Marion County, Kentucky, to Walter and Nettie (Mann) Lindsey. She married Johnie Myron Caffee on April 2, 1952, in Shelbyville. Her husband died September 7, 1983.

Survivors include two sons, Myron Caffee and Bryce Caffee, both of Shelbyvillee; two daughters, Mrs. Greg (Virginia) Pettis, Shelbyville, and Mrs. Chris (Rachael) Jones, High Point, North Carolina; two grandchildren; two sisters, Marcella Haltom, Shelbyville, and Marie Stephens, Russell Springs, Kentucky; and two brothers, Max Lindsey and Manuel Lindsey, both of Shelbyville. Three brothers, in their infancy, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Caffee was a former school bus driver for the Southwestern Shelby County Schools. She belonged to the Marietta Fireman's Auxiliary and the Mount Gilead Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 10:30 Tuesday at the Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Benedict officiating. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marietta Fireman's Auxiliary.
