Catherine Coutant Badeau was born in 1726 in New Rochelle, the daughter of Isaac Coutant and Catherine Bonnefoy. She died on 1 Feb 1791. Her husband Peter (Pierre) Badeau was also born in New Rochelle, the son of John H. Badeau and Madelaine Parcott. The Badeaus, Coutants, Parcotts, Bonnefoys, and Erouards (Heroys) were among the earliest Huguenot settlers of New Rochelle. Regards,Cecily
