Mrs. McKeigney, Sr.

Mrs. A. F. McKeigney, Sr., wife of former Senator McKeigney, died early Sunday after a brief illness. She was 67 and the former Miss Fannie Allen of near Winona.

Funeral services for Mrs. McKeigney, who taught school in Winona for 22 years and then at Eupora for about 13 years was held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the First Baptist Church at Winona. The Rev. J. Reedy, pastor, assisted by the Rev. M. E. Scott, Methodist minister, officiated.

Mrs. McKeigney was second vice president of the Mississippi Women's Federated Clubs in the Third District, and former matron of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of the Baptist Church,

She is survived by her husband: three children, A. F. McKeigney, Jr., of Eupora, Nan McKeigney, teacher at Como, and Mrs. Louis P. Toler of Jackson; two brothers, Lamar Allen of Ellisville, and the Rev. Donald B. Allen of Gainesville, Fla.
