Ada M Jensen, 79,. a resident of Carson City for the past 13 years died in Carson City today. She was born in Parker, Idaho, January 12, 1895, and the daughter of Henry M. and Levine Harmon. In 1916, she married George Jensen, who is the sheriff of Mineral County, Nevada, at the time of his death in 1957. She lived in Nevada for 38 years coming to Fallon in 1936 and moving to Hawthorne in 1942. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mineral Temple of Pythian Sisters Past Chiefs Association and DOES Lodge.

Survivors include daughters, Lavina Berrum of Reno and Almina Phillips of Carson City, sons, Arthur of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Boyd of Hawthorne, a sister, June Barnett of Tucson, Arizona, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Walton’s Sierra Chapel in Reno. Burial will be in the Pythian Cemetery in Reno. Friends may a call at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley in Carson City, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. from noon until 9 p.m.
