Vintondale -Jan 26, 1928, Harold Nale, aged 24 years, of this place was instantly killed about 11 o'clock Tuesday night when crushed between a rock-dusting machine and timbers in the Bethlehem mine at Wehrum, Indiana county.

The deceased is survived by his widow (Hannah Williams Nale), his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Nale, of Vintondale and these brothers and sisters: John Nale of Johnstown, Raymond Nale of Sproul, Charles and Erma Nale, both at home, Mrs. Ethel Wamsley of Carson Valley, Mrs Edna Miller of Vintondale, Mrs. Anna Leap and Mrs. Minnie Lego, both of Tunnelhill, Mrs. Hettie Burkett of Claysburg, Mrs. Viola Fleck of Altoona, Mrs. Sadie Clark of Vintondale and Mrs. Ella Carnahan of Cross Keyes, these half-brothers also survive: Harry Brubaker of Altoona, Blair Brubaker of Carson Valley, Earl Brubaker of McKeesport and Howard and Raymond Brubaker both of Cross Keyes.(Courtesy: jcabowers)
