Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Abilene City Cemetery. Brother Neely officiating, directed by Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd St. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Sharon was born in Abilene on May 14, 1946. She graduated from Clyde High School and attended Draughn's Business School and the Cisco Jr. College nursing program. She returned to Abilene in 1986 from Sherman, TX and worked as an LVN for Woods. She was a member of the New Beginnings United Pentecostal Church. She was the widow of Chris Paige, whom she married April 14, 1981 in Sherman.
She is survived by: her mother, Betty (Evans) Chatham of Abilene; two sons, Donnie Skiles and wife, Teresa, of Benbrook and Todd Skiles and wife, Stephanie, of Ft. Worth; one daughter, Jill Paige of Abilene; a brother, William Chatham of Abilene; a sister, Connie Jackson and husband, Mark, of Burleson; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Chatham; and a daughter, Shelley McKnight.
