Charlotte A. Abel of Bedford died Sunday, October 5, 1997, at her residence. The daughter of Oscar and Ida (Sides) Fiddler, she was born in Bedford on December 31, 1924. She married Robert Abel in May, 1945, and he survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. David (Diana) Taylor of Bedford; two sons, Bob Abel and John Abel, both of Bedford; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Walter Fiddler of Michigan; and a companion, Fred Bruhy of Bedford. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. She was of Protestant Faith and retired in 1978 as a Nurses Technician at Bedford Medical Center. Services for Charlotte Abel will be Wednesday, October 8th, at 10:00 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Brother Dirus Dustin officiating. Cremation will follow.
