Joseph A. Baranosky of Needham, an accountant and bookkeeper, died Tuesday at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston. He was 63.

Born in Brockton, he was raised and educated in Needham. He graduated from Needham High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Boston College in 1964.

Mr. Baranosky was an accountant and bookkeeper and worked at the Archdiocese of Boston and Mary Immaculate of Lourdes in Newton Upper Falls.

He also enjoyed gardening.

Mr. Baranosky is survived by two brothers, Stanley A. of Newport, R.I., and Edward A. of Toronto; two nieces and a nephew.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, Newton Upper Falls.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
