She was a housewife and mother. Mrs. Levan loved farm life, gardening and canning.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar, her parents Hery and Julie Sanders, four children, Lorene Keeton, Arlena Suskey, Raymond Levan and Vernon Levan; seven brothers and four sisters, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her survivors include: three sons and their wives, Albert and Maxine, Davenport, Iowa, Melvin and Peggy, Arthur and Nancy, all of Ava, four daughters and their husbands, Irene and Bill Gulliver, Bolivar, Reba and Les Howe, Ozark, Arkansas, Joanna and Robert Lipsey, Campbell, Missouri, and Arletta Dewhurst, Van Buren, Missouri, one sister Mary Boehl, Bettendorf, Iowa, twenty-eight grandcildren, several great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was saved and baptized, and was a member of Ava General Baptist Church.
