He was survived by his second wife Amanda Belle Simmons Terry; daughters Caroline Virginia Terry Dodge, Wilma Lucy Terry Bowden, Agnes Pauline Terry Pierceall, Anna Magdaline Terry Spence; sons James Henry Terry, Joseph Leon Terry, Paul Edward Terry; and brother August Edward Terry.
