MARGERY KEENE Passed away on September 24, 2005, she was 96 years old. Born on November 7, 1908 in Wascott, WI. Relocated from Superior, WI in 1972 to Fremont. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Wesley Keene. Survived by 2 daughters, Margery Keene of Modesto, CA and Marlene Smith of Fremont, CA; 4 sons, Wesley Keene Jr. of Superior, WI, Howard Keene of Fremont, Larry Keene of San Andreas, CA and Gerald Keene of Fremont; 18 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Margery was very active in 4-H in Wisconsin. While in California, she played cards with her children every Thursday night. She loved to garden, wrote a book about her life and was very proud of her growing family. Visitation will be Thursday, September 29th, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and funeral services Friday, September 30th, 2:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
