He was interred with military honors on Thursday, December 11, 2008 with services provided by Hoffmeister South County Chapel through the Homeless Veterans Burial Program. In attendance were The Patriot Guard, the ROTC Color Guard from Cleveland High School, two Gold Star Mothers and a number of veterans. Korean War Veterans served as pallbearers.
