Ruth was a wonderful caring person. She was the youngest of four children born to Frank Charles Symons and Ethel Nicerina Sumner. She became engaged to August "Gus" Hausom on Christmas Eve 1944 but sadly she would die 6 months later from Lymphatic Luekemia at the age of 23.
