Elaine was the only child of Guy Holloway and wife Mona Turnidge. She married Orvil Raymond Linder January 1, 1941 in Multnomah County, Oregon. They had two daughters, Patricia and Nancy . They divorced about 1948.
She married Kenneth Bassett July 1950 in Oregon. They had one child, son David.
