Emma Ferguson, daughter of the late Churchman and Elizabeth Ann (Boak) Ferguson, was born near Cross Roads, St. Francois County, Missouri on January 18, 1861, and passed away October 29, 1942, aged 81 years, 9 months & 1 day. She had made her home in Farmington since 1919.
Emma Ferguson was one of eleven children and is survived by two sisters, Artie (Mrs. G. B.) Perkins and Pauline (Mrs. W. A.) Simpson. Three brothers and five sisters preceded her in death - William Thomas, Lloyd and John H. Ferguson and Mary Ann (Mrs. A.M.) Smith, Martha Ann (Mrs. John A.) Smith, Katie (Mrs. Ezra) Bible, Addie (Mrs. G. W.) Hall and Lovenia Belle (Mrs. Willis Alfred) Mitchell. Besides the above named sisters she leaves to mourn her passing numerous nephews and nieces and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
