Henry was the husband of Lydia (Kopp) Domer 1849-1906

He was the son of Jacob Domer and Mary (Auttlebarger) Domer, second wife of Jacob Domer. She waa first married to David Parks (1807-abt 1840)

Henry M. Domer, for a number of years a resident of the Seventh ward, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. O. C. Kensinger, 432 Pine avenue, at 10 o’clock last night of paralysis. He was first stricken on June 4, 1909, and from this stroke he had never recovered. Wednesday he was again stricken and grew gradually worse until he passed away. Deceased was born near Bellwood on October 26, 1850, and had resided in Altoona the greater part of his life. In his younger days he was a school teacher but on securing a position with the Pennsylvania Railroad company in this city he gave up teaching and entered the shops where he was employed until ten years ago since which time he had lived a retired life. He was a member of the Antis Lutheran church, having become connected with that congregation when a boy. He is survived by the one daughter, Mrs. Kensinger, at whose home he died, and two sisters: Mrs. Mary Grove, of Altoona, and Mrs. Emily Turnbaugh, of Bellwood. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Funeral Notices
The funeral services over the late Henry M. Domer, a well known resident of the Seventh ward, will be held this evening at 8 o’clock, at his late home, 432 Pine avenue. The remains may be viewed any time after 2 o’clock this afternoon, and on Wednesday morning at 8 o’clock they will be taken to Dysart and thence to Richlands, where services will be conducted in the Richland church and interment made in the church cemetery.

Note: Sisters Mary Grove and Emily were actually a half sisters, daughters of Jacob and Mary #1.
