Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 5, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home. Brother Stan McCreary officiated. Burial will be at Centenary Cemetery in Saverton Township, Ralls County.
Mrs. Glascock was born February 7, 1910 in Centenary, MO to Harvey Martin Snell and Elsie Mae (McGee) Snell.
She was married to Samuel Downing Glascock on October 26, 1930 in Centenary, MO. He preceded her in death on November 4, 1990.
Survivors include: 3 Daughters, Wanda Mueller (Ray) of Prairie Village, KS, Dorothy Foster (Bill) of Saverton, MO, and Beth Proctor (Steve) of Independence, MO; 2 Sons, Kenneth Glascock (Karen) of Hannibal, MO and Brian Glascock (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, IL; 1 Sister-in-law, Vivian 'Valeta' Snell; 26 Grandchildren; 52 Great-Grandchildren; 16 Great-Great- Grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by 2 children, Clarence Edwin Glascock Sr. and Mary Evelyn (Glascock) McAfee; 3 Brothers, Howard, Charles, and Perry Urmel Snell; 3 Sisters, Ruby (Snell) Kelly, Bertie Mae Snell and Dorothy Mae Snell.
Mrs. Glascock was a homemaker and had also worked as a medical secretary at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Hannibal. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. Dora loved to play bingo and also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. Mrs. Glascock was a longtime member of Westside Christian Church in Hannibal.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Westside Christian Church or to the Centenary Cemetery Association in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Steven Stuenkel, Eric Mueller, Curt Foster, Royce Proctor, Sam Miller, Dennis McAfee, and Josh Atherton.
