ROCK HILL - Mr. Everett Neal Davidson, 87, of Rock Hill, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Park Pointe Village.

Born in Bethel, Mr. Davidson was the son of the late Hugh Dunham Davidson and Iva Boyd Davidson.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Hopper Davidson; two sons, Boyd Wayne (Hacksaw) Davidson of Sharon, S.C., and Kenneth Neal Davidson of Rock Hill; grandson, Timothy Wayne Davidson of York, S.C.; granddaughter, Amanda M. Outlaw of Rock Hill; five great-grandchildren.

He was a U.S. Army Airforce veteran serving in the Pacific during World War II, he retired from Independent Life Insurance Company after 46 years and was an avid hunter.

A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 6, at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Clover, with the Rev. Tony Slawson officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
