Services for Rosemary S. Chandler will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Wall officiating. Burial will be in Suqualena Cemetery. Mrs. Chandler, 73, of Waynesboro, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Wayne County General Hospital. She was a member of Central United methodist Church and had been attending Calvary Baptist Church in Waynesboro. She worked in admissions at MCC as director of personnel, Meridian Public School System, was past president of MAES, past president of the Pilot Club and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Mrs. Chandler was affectionately called Ga Ga by her grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Missy Bynum and her husband, Billy, of Waynesboro and Laura Miller and her husband, Jody, of Madison; two brothers, John Spence of Charleston, S.C., and Paul Spence of Ardmore, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Jacob Bynum and his wife, Maria, of Lafayette, La., Luke Bynum and his wife, Andrea, of Pearl, and Mary Ranie Miller and Chandler Miller, both of Madison; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Chandler. The family requests memorials be made to the American Lung Association. Visitation will be Saturday from noon-2 p.m.at the funeral home.
