He was a graduate of Texas A&M University, (1944), graduating with a degree in electrical engineering. He was an Army veteran of World War II, achieving the rank of captain in the Signal Corps. He also was a member of the Occupational Forces after the war. He later was employed by Unisys Corp. for 35 years until retiring in 1984.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dorothy W. Huss; sons, Gary E. Huss and Geoffrey L. Huss; brother, Benjamin F. Huss; and four granddaughters.
