He was the deputy county treasurer for Albany County, NY, for many years until retiring in 1977. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a former member of the La Buona Vita Home Owners' Association and the community's Shuffle Board Club.
Survivors include his nephew, Robert M. Ostrosky. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Lillian Cordell Strevell.
