M. Gean Markley, 79, Jackson, WY, died Weds., Jan. 28, 2009 at home. She was born in Altoona, PA to John & Margaret Reekie. Gean is survived by her five children: three daughters: Karen Dyer of Marysville, PA, Deborah Phillips of Jackson, WY, and Jill Smith of Victor, ID; two sons: J. Scott Markley of Houston, TX and R. Neal Markley of Huron, OH; six grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and a brother, J. Gale Reekie of Lancaster, PA. Predeceased by sister, Barbara Rishel. Gean was a retired registered nurse, having received her training from Bryn Mawr Hospital, Bryn Mawr, PA and Cuyahoga Community College, OH. She was a longtime resident of Fairview Park, OH, prior to relocating to Jackson, WY in 2005. Friends will be received from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Fri., Feb. 6 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata. Burial, Rose Hill Cemetery.
