Daughter of Bernard and Anna Maria (Mohr) Funck, Fronia arrived in the U.S. in 1854 with her husband Peter and children. In 1860 she traveled to St. Louis with several of her children, arriving during an outbreak of cholera. Fronia died, and it is believed her children did as well, as no record of them is found after the outbreak.
