Mary E. Quail, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 14, 1922, in Pasco, Wash., daughter of Raymond and Dica Root Banks. She and Bob Quail where married in Newport, Ore. He died in 1982.
Quail helped train U.S. Navy pilots in their primary flight training during World War II in Yakima, Wash.
Survivors include a son, Greg Boyd of Cape Girardeau, and a grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
There will be no visitation or services.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
