Mason Dalton was the son of James Lewis Dalton and Adeline Lee Younger Dalton. Mr. Dalton married Jennie Blivens on July 15, 1883 in Merced, Calf. He was buried in unmarked grave in Bliven family plot, Turlock Memorial Park, Turlock, Ca.Western Outlaw. After his brothers met their demise while attempting to rob two banks at once in Coffeyville, Kansas, Bill Dalton (whose real name was Mason Frakes Dalton) hooked up with Bill Doolin to form the Doolin-Dalton gang. Their partnership was immortalized in the Eagles album 'Desperado.' Bill was killed by a posse near Elk, Indian Territory and was buried in his wife's family plot (the Blivens plot) in Turlock, California.
