WURTSBORO - Marjorie R. Horton of Wurtsboro, a retired cashier for the Bank of New York, Wurtsboro, and a lifelong area resident, died Saturday at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa., after a long illness. She was 50.

The daughter of the late John and Alice Day Sloat, she was born Jan. 29, 1932 in Monticello. She was a member of the Kiamesha OES, and the Wurtsboro United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Horton, at home; three sons, John Horton and Glenn Horton, both of Wurtsboro, and Robert Horton of Kingston; a daughter, Elizabeth Horton of Wurtsboro; and a brother, Charles Sloat of Forestburgh.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Blake will officiate.

Cremation will be in Ferncliff Crematory, Hartsdale.
