Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cornish, 62, of Marion, died Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Sharlotte Douglas Cornish, of Marion; son, William H. "Bill" Cornish, III, and his wife, Candy of Meridian; daughter, Kristi Wagner, of Meridian, daughter, Niki Martin and her husband, Corey, of Lauderdale; and a son, Mark Cornish, of Marion; four grandchildren, Payton Olivia Cornish, Miles Franklin Wagner, Regan Kathleen Wagner, and William Braxton Cornish; a brother Ben Cornish and his wife, Deanna, of Meridian; sister, Karen Jones and her husband, Ben, of Starkville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Ida Belle Cornish and a brother, Glenn Cornish.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Sollie, Jim Hobgood, Jerry Hobgood, Gary Harmon, Wayne Hedgepath, Butch Harper, Jack Douglas, and Jack Ryburn.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home
