Oscar Wayne Davis, 64, died Wednesday, February 16, 2005, at Memorial Medical University Health Center, after a long illness. He was born July 30, 1940 in Jesup, GA. A lifelong resident of Savannah he was a graduate of Savannah High School class of 1958 and attended Armstrong Atlantic State University. He served in the Army National Guard and was a self employed painter for many years. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar W. and Maude Smith Davis, and three brothers, Eulie, Russell, and Gene Davis. Survivors: daughter, Erin; son, Sean; sister, Erma Clay; sister in law, Louise Davis; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial Graveside Services: 2 p.m., Sunday, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Meldrim, GA. with Rev. Edward Clay officiating. Hubert C.
