Otto B. Alford, 86, a resident of Route Two, Mt. Hermon, died at 1 p.m. Friday, May 8th, at his residence.
A member of the Bogue Chitto Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Selma A. Alford.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jimie Nell Weick of Jefferson and Miss Joan Alford of Franklinton; two sisters, Mrs. Angie Simmons of Franklinton and Mrs. Allie Bulloch of Denham Springs; two grandsons, Wayne P. Weick of Mr. Hermon and Glenn V. Weick of Destrehan; and six great-grandchildren.
The body lay in state at the Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton unti the time for funeral services, which were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 10th, in the funeral home chapel....
Interment followed in the Bogue Chitto Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bob Reedy, Leroy Miller, Malcolm Alford, Scott Reedy, David Alford and Devon Miller.
