Paris native and Dana Corporation plant manager Russell Wall Moore, Jr., 58, of Danville Kentucky, died Monday, October 24, 2005, at Ephraim DcDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville after a long illness.

His wife the former Nancy Cothran survives. They were married January 5, 1969.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Selected as pallbearers are Mark Joslin, Randy Mathis, Dwayne Matthews, Bill Hutson, George Milam, Jack Pressey, Mike Trammell and Carnell Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack McCoy, Patrick Shiftlet, Randy Turner, Ross Orr, Dennis Beal, Billy Lewis, Andy Klepcyk, Dan King, Shad Clayton, Larry Cooper, Steve Shaffer, Mike Kestly, Greg Cole, Ron Kitchen, Bill Sheaks, Gary Austion and Alan Wall.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and After 9 a.m. Thursday.

Born December 2, 1946, he was a son of Russell Wall Moore, Sr., and Virginia Cook Moore, both deceased.

Employed with Dana Corporation for 40 years, he worked in Paris, Morristown, McKenzie, Crenshaw, Mississippi and Danville A U. S. Navy Veteran, he served for five years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris.

He also leaves a daughter, Belinda Moore, Paris; a sister: Gail (Bill) Perry of Soddy Daisy; one brother: James Moore of California;

Two grandchildren: Brittany and Branda Moore, both of Paris; and a sister-in-law: Carolyn (Jack) Lacey of Paris.
