Bertha "Betty" F. Dvornik, 82, of Oconomowoc, WI, formerly of Elkhorn, WI, died Monday, February 9, 2009, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 8, 1927, in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of Joseph and Fanny (Perth) Cerar. Betty married Wenzel A. Dvornik on Sept. 25, 1946, in Milwaukee; Wenzel died on Sept. 20, 2002. Betty worked as a cook for the Walworth County Jail from 1955 until 1962. She was a licensed real estate agent and beautician. She was an accomplished musician, playing the accordion. She and her husband Wenzel founded of Elkhorn Kennel Club. She is survived by her four children: Catherine (Tim) Lindemann of West Allis, WI, Karl (Donna) Dvornik of Franklin, WI, Frances Ann (Todd) Sieving of Dousman, WI, and Joseph Dvornik of Delavan, WI; nine grandchildren: Timothy, Sarah, Wenzel, Mike, Erik, Melissa, Annelise, Matthew, and Todd; five great-grandchildren: Alexandra, Jacob, Harrison, Jaqueline, and Timothy; and one brother, Joseph (Lidia) Cerar of Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 55 years, Wenzel. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Elkhorn, WI, with Father John Twomey officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in the Town of Delavan, WI. Visitation will be at the CHURCH on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Memorials may be made in Betty's name to charity of your choice. Arrangements were completed by the HAASE-DERRICK-LOCKWOOD FUNERAL HOME of Elkhorn, WI.
