Charles Anderson "Charlie" Miller was born July 1, 1928 in Antlers, Oklahoma, the son of John T. Miller and Anna (Labor) Miller and had lived in the Spencerville community all of his life. He departed this life on October 17, 2014 at the age of 86 years, 3 months, and 16 days.
Charlie married Ruby Hicks in February of 1960 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a son, Leon Skipper; two daughters, Patricia Gann and Joyce Weaver; and a sister, Maudie McDade.
Charlie loved hunting, fishing, tinkering around, and gardening. He also enjoyed talking and visiting with his family and friends.
Survivors include: one son, Earl Skipper and wife, Linda of Spencerville, OK; one daughter, Lavonne Elliott and husband, James of Hugo, OK; 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
