DOWNS, VIRGINIA MARY (nee Weber) VIRGINIA MARY DOWNS, of Riverside, who was born August 10, 1913 to Emil and Cora (Feth) Weber, was a 1931 graduate of Julienne High School, a seamstress at Rike's and Donenfelds and a teacher at Saint Patrick's School in Troy, died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Daysprings Health Care in Enon. She was 95. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years: Joseph Irvin in 1986; by her parents; two grandsons: John Butts and Thomas Suerdieck and a sister Lucile Wildes. Funeral will begin Thursday at 9:00 AM in HARRIS FUNERAL HOME, 49 Linden Avenue, Dayton (937)253-3129 followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM. May her soul rest in peace.
