Eugene W. Fioranelli, 65, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at home in Gulfport after a lengthy illness. Mr. Fioranelli was born in Greenville, MS and was a long time resident of the Gulf Coast. He was a graduate of Delta State University. Mr. Fioranelli retired as manager of the Mississippi Department of Unemployment. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #9678 of Woolmarket, and Ocean Springs Yacht Club.Mr. Fioranelli was preceded in death by his son, Jason and his parents, Helene and Julius Fioranelli, and his brother, Raymond J. Fioranelli.Survivors include his wonderful wife, Sandra H. Fioranelli of Gulfport, his daughter, Toni and her husband Chad Dougherty of Las Vegas, NV, and grandson, Dillan Dougherty, his three brothers, Julius Fioranelli of Branson, MO, Frank Fioranelli and Michael Fioranelli both of Greenville, MS and two sisters, Marie Hargrove and Virginia Duncan both of Greenville, MS.Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:30 pm, Friday, July 14, 2006 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road in Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Saturday, July 15, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be in Coalville Cemetery in Biloxi. The family prefers memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 447 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507 or one's favorite charity.
