Marion first married Charles Melvin or Marvin McGrath in El Reno on Sept. 13, 1947. He left her with a Dear John letter, when she was a month from having their son, whom was born July 2, 1948. She waited 7 years and got a divorce from Charles on grounds of abandonment.

Marion second married Robert Ruel Lingenfelter at Wesley United Methodist Church in El Reno on Sept. 5, 1959. Robert was a generous man, but didn't treat her very well if he didn't get his way. Expected to be waited on hand and foot and she became bitter over the years.

Marion died from breast cancer at El Reno Nursing Center. Marion was my mom's sister.
