Allan H. Ferguson, 61, of Hutchinson, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Hospice House in Hutchinson.

He was born March 23, 1947, in Holdenville, Okla., to Hoyt and Minella Leewright Ferguson. He graduated from Garden City High School in 1965 and attended Garden City Community College.

A resident of Hutchinson since 1972, Mr. Ferguson was employed by Dillon Stores before taking medical retirement in 1992. He was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ and served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy "Patti" Ferguson, whom he married on April 13, 1969, in Garden City; a sister, Earlene Ploger of Pratt; a brother, Russell Ferguson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six nephews; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Lowell "Hoppy" Ferguson.

Cremation took place.
