This large "Owens Family Marker" sits in the middle of the 35' X 22' lot. The lot has a granite boarder around it instead of the usually concret boarder. There are 8 headstones for 11 people buired here. To the north of the "Owens Family Marker" and on the east edge is a doublestone. This marker is Marquerite Deal Owens, ("Nunnie") b February 21, 1912 d June 22, 1984 and Donald Phil Owens ("Papa") b September 3, 1900 d March 7, 1982. They have a beautiful bouquet of lite purple roses on their graves that someone left for them.
There is a single stone next to them on the south side for Katerine Gwyn Owens ("Wendy") daughter of Donald and Barbara Owens Jr. b June 2, 1969 d July 18, 1977. She has a beautiful bouquet of multicolored daisys that someone has left for her.
Another doublestone is located to the south of the "Owens Family Marker" and on the east side of the lot. This marker is for Olga A Owens b July 1, 1902 d March 1, 1982 and Tom G b July 28, 1906 d January 9, 1980.
Beginning the second row starting at the north side of the lot and on the west side of the lot is another double gravestone. This marker is for Lela Owens Wade ("Lele") b July 26, 1903 d July 14, 1992 and W M Earl Wade("Da") b April 21, 1896 d January 30, 1986.
On the south of them are 4 single plain graves about 18" X 14". Isa Owens b July 4, 1870 d April 17, 1953. J S Owens b May 20, 1856 d January 11, 1916. J S Owens b February 1, 1897 d September 20, 1960. Gussie M Owens b September 28, 1896 d September 27, 1969. ...(These last 4 stone may have been made at the same time or at least by the same person!)CS
