Edith L. Eppard, 86, formerly of 1611 W. 15th St., died Tuesday in Parkview Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was the widow of David Eppard.
Mrs. Eppard was born in Albany, attended Delaware County Schools and lived her entire life in this area. She attended 15th Street Church of God and was a member of the Grandmothers' Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Billie (Nora) Cox, Port Charlotte, Fla., and Mrs. Alexander (Betty) Goad, Muncie; one brother, Harry Beal, Muncie; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Meeks Mortuary by Rev. J. Edward Pease. Burial will be in Black Cemetery. Friends may call in the mortuary 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today.
