John Jackson Pressley, 81, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at his home in Lowell.
Funeral services were held at the Lowell Baptist Church, and burial was in the Lutheran Chapel cemetery near Gastonia.
Surviving are the widow; nine children, John Pressley, Ralph Pressley, Mrs. L. B. Jenkins, Carl Pressley, all of Gastonia, James Pressley of Kings Mountain, Mrs. Oscar Belk of Charlotte, Mrs. Nard Wallace, Mrs F. A. Carter, both of Cramerton and Mrs. S. C. Smart of McAdenville; and a brother James Pressley of Hickory Grove.
