Died, On December 5th, Arch McMahan, of pneumonia. He was buried in the Miller graveyard on his farm the 7th. He and his family were in the lower country picking cotton when he took sick and only lived two weeks. He leaves a wife and nine children. Arch was a good citizen and the community extends its sympathy to the bereaved family.

Arch McMahan, aged 45, of Bollinger county, died near ... on Wednesday of pneumonia. He was down here picking cotton and took sick 12 days before. His son took the body to Marble Hill for interment yesterday. - Dunklin Democrat

Mr. McMahan's body was buried near his home at Bessville last Friday. he was a good citizen. We extend our sympathies to the family and friends.
