BOLIVAR - Verda Lue King, 74, homemaker, died of respiratory arrest Sunday at a daughter's home in Henderson. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home in Selmer with burial in Mosses Creek Cemetery in McNairy County.
She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. King, the widow of Robert King, leaves six daughters, Jeffery Dillon of Jackson, Shirley Kirk of Henderson, Gail Davis and Ruthie Clark, both of Ramer, Florence West of Hornsby and Katie King of Bolivar; two sons, Jerry King and James King, both of Selmer; a brother, Andrew May of Bolivar, 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
