Jack Foster of Sand Springs, formerly of Pauls Valley, was born January 10, 1910 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Henry Thomas and Melissa Jane (Crow) Foster.

He passed away February 8, 2009 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 99 years.

He worked as a welder for many years for Slumber J Welders in Houston, Texas. He returned to Pauls Valley around 1999 to be closer to family.

He was preceded in death by sister, Jewell Pannell, who lived in Pauls Valley, and six other siblings.

Surviving family include his daughter, Earline Lambert of Sand Springs; numerous grandchildren and grea-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, which locally includes a nephew, H.M. Pannell and his wife, Betty, of Pauls Valley.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
