Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa passed away on February 9, 2009 at his home in Taylorsville, Utah surrounded by loved ones after a long courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Bob was born May 16, 1931 in Pocatello, Idaho to William and Jennie Roesbery. He was their only child.

He married Kay Turner on April 30, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple and they were married for 54 years. He is the father of six children. In his youth, he had a great love for pigeons. He was well known in the pigeon community for his championship birds and served as a judge at various pigeon shows.

He was an active member of the LDS Church. He served the Lord faithfully as a Bishop, High Councilman, and many other callings. He loved the two missions he served with his wife at Temple Square and Joseph Smith Memorial Building. He had a strong testimony of the gospel and loved the Lord.

He loved to have his family around him. He took great joy in seeing this family enjoying time together each holiday and yearly family reunions. He said "we might not own a boat, but we have cousins".

Bob worked in the hardware business for over 40 years. He was the District Manager for Schlage Lock Company. The first job that he wrote the specs for was the Oakland Temple and the last was the LDS Conference Center. He served his country in the Army as a sergeant and was the company clerk during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife Kay, children - Ken (Charlene) Roesbery, Connie (Cliff) Shelley, Debi (Scott) Bytheway, Mark (Wendy) Roesbery, Lisa (Duane) Elg, Tammy (Troy) Ostmark, 30 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by grandson Tyson Mark Roesbery.
