John Raymond "Jack" Armstrong, 66, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, in the Smyth
County Community Hospital.

He was born in Brooklyn, Wis., to the late Herbert and Mary Armstrong and was
preceded in death by a brother, Michael Armstrong and a sister, Marion
Armstrong.

He was a mechanical and aeronautical engineer having been employed with Curtis
Wright Flight, Allied Aerospace and A.A.I. Engineering, Inc.

Survivors include five children, Johana Ruth Tuggle, Kathleen Jeanette
Armstrong, Reuben John Armstrong and Rachel Kristina Armstrong, all of Marion,
and Rebekah Jean Young of Chilhowie; two brothers, Herbert Joe Armstrong of
Stoughton, Wis., and Fred A. Armstrong of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two sisters; Julie
Luxinger of Edgerton, Wis., and Susan Armstrong of Webster, Wis.; three
grandchildren, Justin Wayne Tuggle, Dakota Darnell Leffler and James Dylan
Leffler; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at 8 p.m. at Bradley's
Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with the Rev. Wayne Lewis and the Rev. Neville
Mozingo officiating. Graveside services will be private. Expressions of sympathy
may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, from 6-8 p.m. at the
funeral home.
