Ruth A. Burkey, 67, of Woodchuck Lane, Exeter Township, died Sunday morning at 12:40 in the Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since May 10.
She was the widow of Russell C. Burkey, who died in 1955.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Florence (Hoenstine) Naugle.
She was employed as a waitress and cashier by Hess's family Restaurant, Ontelanee Township.
She is survived by a daughter, Faye E., wife of Ronald Barto, with whom she last resided; two granddaughters; and a sister, Mary, widow of Irvin Kerns, berks Heim.
