The family lived on Road 14 in house 302. Troy had childhood eczema and had to be hospitalized more than once in Memphis to get the problem under control. His father would travel over and stay with him while Mildred would take care of the kids at home.
Troy had several childhood ailments that in the long run prevented him from working the farm as the older kids had. As he aged he was athletic and enjoyed life never really "growing up".
He loved cars and music and watching sports. He was married once to a lady he called a beautiful redhead, Barbara. The marriage was in Rockford, Illinois and they produced two fine kids, a girl and a boy. The young family moved South to Lonoke, Ar following his parents and settled there. They divorced around 1980.
Troy worked in several factory jobs over the years. His final job was as a fence installer just prior to be diagnosed with Parkinsons. The Parkinsons took it's toll forcing him to be home-bound. But as bad as that was his demise was brought about by pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed in mid-May of 2005 and died at home surrounded by his loving children less than 2 weeks after his diagnosis.
