COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Lillie Jeanette (Lillie Pruden) Thomas, 92, of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. from the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.

Graveside services and burial will be held Friday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. EST at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville.

Mrs. Thomas died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 3, 1916, in Pruden to the late Harry Barnes and Mary Conley Pruden.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of Cookeville First Baptist Church and Jellico Eastern Star Chapter 215.

Her family includes two sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard (Edd) and Carolyn Thomas of Clairfield and James P. and Lavonne Thomas of Vancouver, Wa.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary and John Rydzik of Auburn, Calif., and Brenda A. Capshaw of Cookeville; a niece, Mary Armstrong of Memphis; a nephew, Harry B. Pruden III of Oak Ridge; 11 grandchildren, Cheryl Hines and husband Bob, Major Eddie Thomas and wife Lesley, Steven James Thomas, Michael Thomas and wife Jeanette, Marla Leaman, Billy Thomas and wife Laurie, Christy Beane and husband Jason, Tracey Lyke, Michelle McKenzie and husband Brian, Tamatha Jay Bellew and John Ryan Capshaw and wife Katie; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Thomas; a son, William Ray Thomas II; a brother, Harry B. Pruden Jr.; a granddaughter, Janna Raye Thomas; and a great-grandson.

Memorial donations may be made to Cookeville First Baptist Church, 18 S. Walnut Ave., Cookeville, TN 38501, or to Cookeville Regional Medical Center Foundation, 1 Medical Center Blvd., Cookeville, TN 38501.

Dr. Randall Adkisson and Rev. Charles Hutchinson will officiate the services.
